Installing on Android Phone

Works on Samsung, OnePlus, Realme, Xiaomi, and all Android phones with Chrome browser.

Open Google Chrome on your phone
Make sure you are using Chrome browser (the colourful circle icon). If you don't have Chrome, download it free from Play Store first.
💡 This does NOT work with Samsung Internet or Firefox browser — only Chrome.

Go to hydroportal.in
Tap the address bar at the top of Chrome. Delete whatever is there and type: hydroportal.in — then press Go.

Tap the three dots (⋮) at the top right
You will see a menu open. Look for the option that says "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App". Tap it.
💡 The three dots ⋮ are in the top-right corner of Chrome.

Tap "Add" when it asks for confirmation
A small box will appear asking to confirm. Tap "Add". The HydroPortal icon will now appear on your phone's home screen — just like any other app.

Done! Open HydroPortal from your home screen
Find the HydroPortal icon on your home screen and tap it. It will open in full screen like a regular app, with no browser address bar.
✅ Works without internet once installed — all your data is saved privately on your phone.

Installing on iPhone or iPad

Works on all iPhones and iPads running iOS 14 or above. Must use Safari browser.

Open Safari on your iPhone
Safari is the default browser on iPhone — it looks like a blue compass icon. This only works with Safari, not Chrome or any other browser on iPhone.
💡 Safari is already installed on every iPhone. No need to download anything.

Go to hydroportal.in
Tap the address bar at the top and type: hydroportal.in — then tap Go on the keyboard.

Tap the Share button at the bottom
At the bottom of Safari, you will see a square with an arrow pointing up (↑). Tap that — this is the Share button.
📤 The share button looks like a box with an upward arrow — it is at the bottom centre of Safari

Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
A menu will slide up. Scroll down in that menu until you see "Add to Home Screen" with a plus (+) icon. Tap it.
💡 You may need to scroll down a little in the menu to find this option.

Tap "Add" in the top right corner
A screen will appear showing the app name "HydroPortal". Tap "Add" in the top-right corner to confirm. The icon will now appear on your home screen.

Done! Find HydroPortal on your home screen
Go back to your home screen and look for the HydroPortal icon. Tap it to open. It will open in full screen, just like a regular app from the App Store.

Installing on Mac (MacBook or iMac)

Works on any Mac using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser.

Open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on your Mac
Chrome is a round colourful circle icon. Edge is a blue "e" with a wave. If you only have Safari, this method won't work — download Chrome free here.

Go to hydroportal.in
Click the address bar at the top of the browser (where you normally type a website address). Type hydroportal.in and press Enter.

Look for the Install icon in the address bar
On the right side of the address bar, you will see a small computer screen icon with a down arrow (⬇). Click it. This is the Install App button.
💡 If you don't see the icon, click the three dots (⋮) at the top right → "Save and share" → "Install page as app".

Click "Install" in the popup
A small box will appear. Click the blue "Install" button. HydroPortal will open in its own window and will also appear in your Applications folder and Dock.

Done! Open HydroPortal from your Dock or Applications
You can now open HydroPortal from your Mac Dock at the bottom or from your Applications folder. It opens in its own window, like any other Mac app.

Installing on Windows PC or Laptop

Works on any Windows computer using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (already on your PC).

Open Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome
Microsoft Edge is already on your Windows PC (blue "e" icon in the taskbar). You can also use Chrome. Both work perfectly.
💡 Edge comes pre-installed on every Windows 10/11 computer. No need to download anything extra.

Go to hydroportal.in
Click the address bar at the top of the browser. Type hydroportal.in and press Enter on your keyboard.

Click the Install icon in the address bar
On the right side of the address bar, look for a small icon that looks like a computer screen with a plus sign. Click it. In Edge, it may say "App available".
📍 The install icon is on the RIGHT side of the address bar where you typed the website name
💡 In Edge: click the three dots (…) at top right → Apps → "Install this site as an app".

Click "Install" in the popup box
A small box will appear on screen. Click the "Install" button. HydroPortal will immediately open in its own window.

Done! Find HydroPortal on your Desktop or Start Menu
HydroPortal is now installed. You can find it on your Desktop, in the Start Menu, or in your Taskbar. Open it anytime — it works even without internet.
✅ Your data is saved only on your computer. Nothing is shared online without your permission.
